Welcome to Mothers Healing Heart PODCAST
In these podcasts we delve into the heart of important conversations addressing the challenges that touches the lives of many mothers of adolescents and young adults with mental health disorders and issues.
Our aim is to support mothers who are navigating the complexities of dealing with children facing mental health issues, and our primary focus is on individuals aged 16 to young adults.
Mothers of adolescents and young adults facing multiple physical and mental health issues often experience deep and challenging emotions such as feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, sad, angry, even resentment towards that person. Navigating these complex emotions, coping with societal expectations, dealing with our fluctuating hormones, and managing the financial stress associated with your child with special needs can be debilitating.
These podcasts will validate the emotions mothers and carers are experiencing. We aim to create a safe space for open and honest discussions on understanding and dealing with your situations.
Fortnightly on Tuesdays this will be a space for empathy, understanding and shared experiences. As well as some coping strategies for those especially challenging times.
We at Mother’s Hearts’ want to emphasize the importance of seeking professional medical advice. While this podcast is intended to provide support, insights, and shared experiences, we at Mother’s Hearts’ are not medical professionals.
